Keynote Speaker Dr. Margot Peeters: Making Research Work: Implementing Evidence-Informed Practices in Youth Development Settings On average, it takes 17 years for a scientific finding to find its way into practice. This takes far too long, especially when it comes to youth development—an area where trends and societal influences change rapidly. How can we accelerate this process, and how can we ensure that our research has a faster impact in practice? VNOP-CAS Research Days 2024 – Thank you!
On the 28 and 29 of November, the VNOP-CAS Research Days took place in Utrecht again. During this tenth edition (!), 138 researchers attended this year’s Research Days. Thank you to all for attending and for your participation! On Thursday, PhDs and post docs attended one of the three workshops and developed their skills as young researchers. How can we share our research with a larger audience? How can we benefit from using Artificial Intelligence in our research? And how can we conduct a single case experiment? After learning the answers to these questions, we got to know each other

VNOP-CAS Research Days 2023 were a success!
In November the VNOP-CAS Research Days took place in Utrecht again. This year we had a record number of 172 (!) registrations and we would like to thank everyone for these two amazing days! On Thursday during the workshops we learnt a great deal about grant writing, experience sampling methods, and team work and the pub quiz with pizzas in the Cambridge Bar was a great way to end the first day! On Friday we listened to an inspiring keynote and panel members shared their expertise with regard to bridging the gap between science and society. A lot of researchers
